The Malama Kauai Green Business Program started in 2009 and operated until 2014.
One of the primary benefits is that you can be listed on the Green Kauai Map digital application and we’ll send you a host of other materials and even a beautiful sticker that you can display proudly at your place of operation.
The Green Kauai Map was inspired by the original Green Map folks and was printed in hard copy during 2009, 2010 and 2011. Although over 40,000 maps were distributed island-wide, we realized it would be more cost effective to utilize a digital medium to create, distribute and update the map. Through partnerships with Green Car Hawaii and funding from the Atherton Family Foundation we launched the Green Kauai Map App which is available for the iPad and iPhone.
