The Olohena ‘ĀINA Center will be an 87-acre agricultural park, with the first 25 acres currently under development that includes 20 acres of sublicensed farm plots, four acres of agroforestry, as well as an acre of shared facilities for farmers including a washing and packing area, greenhouse, walk-in cold storage, and a meeting and business space.
Prospective farmers interested in licensing a farm plot can submit their information here to get updates on the project and invites to feedback sessions on planning the facility.
Do you want to collaborate in some way as we design the ag park? Have ag related programming that needs a site? Don’t hesitate to reach out early while we’re exploring all the ways an ag park can serve the food and agricultural needs of the east side of Kaua‘i. Your feedback and ideas are more than welcome – they’re desired! |
