Currently our Kupuna CSA program is not accepting new participants due to funding restrictions. However, there are many other kupuna support programs to explore here:

Nourish Kauai- Kupuna Meal Delivery Program

Meal Delivery Program to the Elderly from Kapa‘a to Kalāheo from August to December utilizing both hot meals and meal kits. KGEFCU/Common Ground- Meal Kit Delivery Program

The mission of the Meal Kit Delivery Program is to procure and distribute meal kits to elderly residents living on the North Shore of Kauai. This will address a need for healthy, easy to prepare meals for elderly populations living on the north shore. Meal Kit Delivery Program is available until the end of 2020.  Eligibility = 60+ years old, in-need, residing from Anahola to Ha’ena. Sign up by contacting sarah@commongroundkauai.com or (650-576-9875).

Kauai Economic Opportunity

Elderly Nutrition & Homeless Services- The KEO meal and delivery program provides homebound and homeless meals island-wide. Contact Ashen@keoinc.org or 808-245-4077 ask for Elderly Services Program Director.

Agency of Elderly Affairs (AEA) – Meals on Wheels

Agency of Elderly Affairs (AEA) is providing assistance including the Meals on Wheels program. To qualify for a nutritious home-delivered meal, an individual must be 60+ years old who is homebound and frail with two or more impairments and an unmet need, and meet at least one of the following: (1) Lack the physical mobility and/or mental capacity to shop for food, prepare meals themselves, and have no one to assist; (2) Lack of adequate cooking facilities; (3) OR is convalescing following discharge from the hospital and does not have help to prepare meals. Screening criteria will be provided to determine eligibility.  Call (808) 241-4470 (Monday-Friday, 7:45 am to 4:30 pm) to be referred to a social worker who can help you access this and other resources.
