Aloha Aina Workforce Program

Getting dislocated workers back to work in Kauai jobs with career-changing opportunities in the food systems and conservation fields!

The Aloha Aina Workforce Program is a 12 week career transition experience with a three-fold mission: 1.) provide on-the-job training for covid-displaced workers with living wage benefitted jobs, 2.) provide labor for island based small businesses and non-profits that have been hit with economic crisis to increase productivity and sustainability, and 3.) increase the labor force on Kauai of people who know how to care for Kauai’s greatest asset: the land.

The program is currently in session with our First Cohort, which received over 300 applications! See the Civil Beat coverage on the program and our Malama Kauai blog for stories about our workers and how Aloha Aina is changing lives.
