We are set to kick off our Keep It Local Campaign with a workshop series starting with the basics: food. The Start Your Own Garden Workshop is made for the true beginner. If you've been waiting for the one class that shows you the ABC's of growing your own food in a home garden, this is the class. The course will be lead by Jenica Springer and Brianna Wilkerson. Participants should bring bag lunch, water, rain/sun gear, gloves and clothes to garden in. This is a hands-on workshop and you will get dirty! Workshop takes place at Malama Kaua`i which is at the site of the old Guava Kai Plantation, 4900 Kuawa Road in Kilauea.
